Today, when you visit Long’s Park there are many activities to undertake: you might find yourself feeding the ducks at the 3 acre spring-fed lake, enjoying a picnic on a lovely day, taking a walk over and mingling with the ‘residents’ of the petting zoo, attending a music event during the summer months, or event visiting the fine art and crafts festival.

If you spend much time around Long’s Park and other parks maintained by the City of Lancaster, you’ll notice these little yellow signs. I’ve included one below in case you were curious and also so you can look out for the Emerald Ash Borer in your own back yard!

One of the big highlights during the summer with Long’s Park, is the Summer Music Series. We love attending the concerts, especially on a beautiful summer night! And did I mention, they are all FREE? Who doesn’t love free!?
For the full calendar of the summer music lineup, go here:

So, when you are in the mood to be outside on a beautiful summer evening and listen to some high quality, free music…maybe we will see you at Long’s Park soon!
